Beer Run
This animation is a wacky adventure taking place in a dark and dull world. The main protagonist, Ben is somewhat of an alcoholic, who’s addiction reaches a new level when he makes a deal with a suspicious stranger.
Chewing Gum
Animation representing the chewing of the candy known as chewing gum. It is meant to symbolize how time passes as someone partakes in the act of chewing gum and how someone chewing too much gum can cause them to become chewed gum. The symbolism is shown when the face fades into the shapes and colors of the background. The bubble is made to be transparent as too not take away the attention from the secondary action of the face. For this piece, I used the tools Abobe After Effects, and Photoshop.
Groundhog Day Words
The lines in this video were taken from the movie Groundhog Day, and they were animated accordingly with most of the words showing a theme or a difference of tone from the rest. The words flipping upward were a reference to the clock from said movie.
Jay and the Baseball
The main character, Jay attempts to retrieve a baseball from a high shelf. If only he had longer legs.
Lucifer and the Box
Lucifer intrudes into Tubsons home to give him a mysterious box.
Mandala
This video was inspired by the origin of mandalas which was Buddhism. I took the culture of reincarnation and implemented it into the video with other metaphors tossed throughout the entirety.
Out of Place
A story about someone who does not belong where they are.
The Dentist
Two Lies and the Truth
The title is a play on words from the game, Two Truths and a Lie. In the animated story, a serial killer is giving numerous telling’s about how a woman was murdered.
